Botox injections are noted primarily for the ability to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles & will last approximately 3 - 4 months.

Botox block certain chemical signals from nerves that cause muscles to contract. The most common use of these injections is to relax the facial muscles that cause frown lines and other facial wrinkles.

Botox takes 2 weeks for full effective results. A 2-week review is highly recommended. Should a "top up" be required, this will NOT incur any further expense to the client.

The brand used at Aesthetics By Lee is "Botox" supplied by "AbbVie"

The client must be minimum 21 years of age. 

Vein Finder

A vein finder is a medical device that uses infrared light to locate veins beneath the skin. Injectables are meant to stay within the skin and not enter the vascular system. By visualizing veins, the practitioner can confidently place botox or fillers in the appropriate tissue, enhancing client safety.

After Care Advice

  • Gently exercise your face on the day you get Botox.
  • Relax for the rest of the day.
  • No strenuous exercise for 24 hours
  • Limit alcohol intake
  • Leave the affected area alone as much as possible for 1 to 3 days after your treatment.
  • Stay out of the sun
  • Review in 2 weeks

What happens at the 2-week review?

  • Full consultation is booked for this 2-week review give or take a day or 2 not an extra week or 2. If the client is unable to make the 2-week review or talk to Lee about a possible arrangement, the client forfeits the top up offer. 
  • Botox is at the full therapeutic potential at the 14-day period. A review will not be arranged before this period.
  • The treated area is checked.
  • Is the client happy with results?
  • Does the treated area need more botox? If so, Lee will add more. 
  • There is no cost to the client should more botox be required.
  • One of Lee's great mottos is "you can put more in, but you can't take it out".
